For some reason the recent images show up in reverse order with the oldest first.

well, flickr is allready fixed, but I have one small point that could be fixed, it’s a detail..
When you open your “album” directory there is an error page, normaly you will not open it because its not linked, but when people browse directly to:
http://www.randombyte.net/blog/photos/album/
you see that ugly error. In all other cases FAlbum fixes it nicely.. Is there something to do about this?
Just want to let you know that I set up FAlbum on my site (www.openleftbox.com) over the weekend, and it works great! I had to spend some time tweaking the files, since I’m using an old theme, but everything seems to be fine now. Great job!
Just wanted to thank for FAlbum
I can’t seem to get this new version to work, and what is worse is that I can not go back to the old version without multiple errors. I’m not sure what the problem is, or how to clear it up. Any suggestions?
ideas for next version. Is it possible to have only the album pictures update when clicking next, or opening an album? Currently when selecting an album, or clicking ‘next’ the entire page needs to re-load and this takes away from the flow of viewing images.
Whenever I try to set up FAblum by going to Options->FAlbum in the WP admin, I get the following error: Cannot load wordpress-falbum-plugin.php. I’ve put everything into an falbum subdirectory of the plugins directory (as per the instructions) and was able to activate the plugin, but it won’t work.
What about viewing the photos marked as “favorite”?
I thint this will be a great feature for your plugin.
I’m updated on Wordpress and FAlbum. I love this plugin. I’m on a slightly older theme called Stevish Got Class which is very nice, and everything works wonderfully.
However, I’ve been tinkering around with the idea of updating my theme. Most all of the theme’s I’ve tried (and it’s been about six) I have trouble getting the Album pages to display correctly. They seem to usually cause the sidebar/s to get pushed to the bottom, and in one case with the Da Vinci Code theme, a bunch of the background image doesn’t load at all.
Anyone have any ideas. What am I missing?

FAlbum plugin is very useful, but I’d like that it has two key important features:
- Integration to Post/Page write to include Flickr photos easily;
- A Sidebar Widget would be very useful as well.

I have an idea to use it for creating a gallery of pictures that can be made with specialized software from ordinary photos.

I’m not the most experienced with PHP, but I can get it to look nice as long as I use the non-framed thumbnails. But I want the frames! Is it the drop shadow that’s screwing it up? HELP!

If I insert a bunch of breaks after the php code for FAlbum, I can bump the sidebar stuff down the page. So I just need to make the appropriate number of breaks, I guess.
Is there a better way to do this, as it seems awfully sketchy.

I’ve discovered the alignment issue does not occur in Internet Explorer. It only occurs in Firefox. But on this site, the recent photos look good on either browser. Also, I’m on a PC.
Have K2 0.9 (stable) installed on WordPress 2.0.4 and just installed FAlbum 0.6.6 and the formatting of the page looks terrible. The photos go from edge to edge and the side bar is at the bottom. Take a look at my photo site to see what I’m talking about.
I tried the instructions listed on the wiki but it details instructions for a beta version of K2.
What changes need to be made in order to get FAlbum’s display correct?

There seems to be a problem with the update. If you say “yes” to “show private” you will get an error called “missing signature”
Besides this it’s a great plugin, thank you!

It simply doesn’t work… :-/ I extract it, I upload it, I activate it, but when I want to finish the Initial Setup, all I see is this. What is going (am I doing) wrong? Please help….it really seems to be an amazing plugin. Thx for answer!
Yep, I’ve been using your plugin for a couple months now, and aparently a recent flickr update has caused a snafu. I’m getting the same “missing signature” error:
Flickr returned an invalid status code:
97 - Missing signature
Followed by a bunch of error code. Can’t wait for a fix, up until this it was a great plugin! (oh, and I’m using show private as well)
I too get the 97 missing signature error when using the “show private photos” feature - but I only get the error in firefox - its fine in IE

Today I began receiving the following error on all of my wp sites that use FAlbum:
Flickr returned an invalid status code:
100 - Invalid API Key (Key has expired)
The admin options interface simply returns “Error”. Did flickr change their API today in such a way that breaks FAlbum? If so, will there be an update soon?

i just wanted to let you know i really love this plugin. it’s working like a charm on my website: http://www.mrmark.nl
only i got one small issue in the header/breadcrumb section. when you click on the link that points to the /photos page of Falbum the Currently reading title displays the correct title of the page (i made it from a page). But when you click on a set or picture the Currently reading title is set to the first post on my blog.

Hey, sweet work! Is there any chance that we can include Groups on the album list page? I’m using a Flickr account a group so all my friends can see everyone’s photos in one place, is there a quick hack to include photos not neccesarily owned by the authorized user, but in a (specified?) group?
Keep up the good work, PS. I’ve created a (really dirty) sidebar widget for people that don’t want to mess around with php to get the photos in the sidebar like you have on your site. It’s nasty and frankly needs work - you might want to either have a look at mine or write one yourself for inclusion in 0.6.7

I love the plugin.
I have a large number of photosets so I needed a way to group them. I made a simple modifiation to the script to allow this. I think it would be very easy to add this optional feature to the main code base. Let me know if you are interested and I can send you over my code. Acording to FAlbum’s list of features, it is possible to “View your photos using tags”. There’s even a working example!
I tried the functions [b]create_url[/b] and [b]show_photos[/b] based on what I saw on the Wiki, to no avail.

If I disable the falbum plugin, my page will only load the header, then stop, even though there is no reference to the plugin anywhere in the theme .php. I even added a default theme to ensure I hadn’t overlooked anything, and with the plugin deactivated, my page only loads the header.

Great plugin! I’ve found a number of plugins like this, but I think yours may be the most helpful. I’ve struggled to get a few of them to work, especially when I switch browsers (for some random reason.) So, I’ll give yours a try. I do see that this blog entry dates back to 2006, but I’m sure you’ve got a newer version of this… I’ll take a look around and see if I can find one. Looking forward to getting this to finally work!
I’m having trouble with the FAlbum mod, and I was wondering if anybody could help.
I installed the mod in the right directory, and activated it. But when I go to the Options screen and click FAlbum, I get an error message that says “No input file specified.”
Anyone know what might be causing this? I’m using WordPress on a Dreamhost server.

He eliminado la barra de navegación clásica de K2 la cual me parece algo “coñazo” cuando tienes muchas páginas y he colocado pagebar con una instalación cómoda y realmente sencilla le ha dado funcionalidad a la navegación por el blog además de un aspecto muy “fashion”. He ido añadiendo plugins y supongo que seguiré en cuanto necesite alguna funcionalidad más. Es algo que me encantan de wordpress el poder añadir funcionalidades cuando las necesites y no ya de entrada como ocurre con otros cms como nuke, joomla… Ahora estoy buscando una galería de imágenes “and the winner is”…. falbum, gracias de nuevo Th3 ProphetMan [...]
