FAlbum – 0.5.4

FAlbum – A WordPress plugin that allows you to display your Flickr photos and photosets on your site.

New in FAlbum 0.5.4:

  • Code / CSS clean up (Better K2 theme support)
  • Fixed a caching issue during authentication
  • Fixed a couple paging issues caused be new friendly URLs
  • Fixed an issue with the friendly URLs and non-standard character sets
  • Changed the FAlbum Settings tab to be viewable by level 8 and above WP users
  • Moved the Falbum Settings tab to the “Options” tab
  • Changed the cache table name to include WP prefix. This should now
    allow multiple instances of Falbum to share the same DB in much the
    same way as multiple instances of WP can share the same DB
  • Validates to XHTML 1.1

Big thanks to Colin for helping with the last few releases.

    Word of warning to all people upgrading from previous versions…. to make the upgrade go smoothly, make sure you deactivate your old version BEFORE you install the new version. This is because the table name used by Falbum now uses your Wordpress prefix, and as such, the new table is only created when you activate the plugin.

    Don’t say I didn’t warn you is you get problems.

    The clean URL doesn’t work properly. It’s missing the first character in the .htaccess, so if you have /photos/ as your clean URL, it has ^hotos in the .htaccess.

    i edited my .htaccess file to have the p, and the main page loads, but nothing works, clicking tags sends me to a list of my images (thumbnails) and clicking any one of my sets just shows me the main listing again.
