any help?
for some reason the fontsize on my tagcloud is all the same. nothing bigger nothing smaller.
I like your plugin lots! It works great. I’ve got one question though. How do we integrate the page into the site? Can we use Wordpress “Pages”?

I’ve found that it doesn’t play well with the three column Gila theme, anyways happy to report that I managed to hack the gila theme and now everything works fine.

I just wanted to say thank-you for the FAlbum plugin – it is truly amazing! Set up was simple and it works a dream – even on IIS!

That’s what i want. I want the cloud tag index so that i don’t need to buy a professional flickr account.
Nice work and some nice new features and changes from the original Flickr Gallery plugin. However, there are a couple of places where this plugin takes a step or two back, particularily when it comes to “friendly URL’s”. They’re nowhere nearly as friendly as they used to be (which still had room for improvement).
I’ll stick to using my hacked version of the Flickr Gallery plugin until I’ve hacked Falbum to get the features I want. I’ll feedback my changes for inclusion in later revs of Falbum
Don’t know why I can’t get this to work! Getting a 500 server error. I have friendly URL’s enabled and it can see that it was added to my .htaccess file but for some reason I get nothing. I also disabled friendly URL’s and still cannot get it to work. will try tomorrow, already spent 30 minutes trying to fix.
I also get this when I update from the FAlbum plugin:

Well it finally worked. Not sure what was going on, I think I just needed to trash the cache in my browser but all is well.
Two other things I did was take out the sidebar by editing the falbum-wp.php file. In addition I just created a page called “photos” so it showed within the pages structure.

To be honest I’m not 100% sure I know what I did to fix it. I think it was a combo of my .htaccess file and my browser cache. It was late and I was tired and gave up. The next morning it worked just fine. Can’t really explain.
I must be dense, but I am new at WordPress. I set it up according to the instructions, but I have no idea how to integrate it into a posting. What page should I be on and then what do I do? TIA

I did find that when updating my friendly url’s my .htaccess file was getting trashed causing a 500 Server Error. I found that when FAlbum wrote to the file it was removing the #End WordPress marker and so next time I updated a page WordPress got all mashed. Don’t know if that might help some people with 500’s or if it is something to keep an eye on.
Thanks for the plugin, good work! However, some parts of the options page use the short form of PHP code tags instead of which isn’t allowed on all servers (including mine). Also the german translation is written using UTF-8 encodings instead of ISO-8859-1. Not all servers support this (including my website).

how come when i view the “L” size of my photo, it takes me to this page >> http://www.flickr.com/images/photo_unavailable.gif
but the other sizes are available. help me! i cant even view largest size:(
Any was to get non-sanitized tags. The all lowercase, spaces removed tags look kind of silly. Otherwise I haven’t encountered any issues, havent tested it much yet. (Other than if an image is too big for the main coloumn, but thats another thing.)
Everything goes fine through the install, except that after activated, I see a FAlbum page, but when I click, I get this message :
Not Found
The requested URL /wp-admin/falbum-plugin.php was not found on this server.
FAlbum is in the content/plugin folder, not in the wp-admin folder — I don’t get it !

Ah I see now that is a flickr thing, maybe there is a different way to get the tags so that you can go one better than flickr itself?
Yep – I’m getting the same result – is it because I haven’t upgraded my WP yet? I’m going to try that – it’s about time I upgrade anyways

Er moet me even iets van het hart en het is nogal nerderig. Natuurlijk ben ik heel blij met die FAlbum-plugin voor Wordpress. Het is een heel fijne manier om mijn Flickr-plaatjes ook op deze site te tonen.

Displaying Flickr photos
I have integrated my Flickr photo gallery to my site. After playing around with Zen Photo and Plogger I decided to use a plugin that works with my photos already posted on Flickr. Thanks to Elijah’s awesome plugin FAlbum for WordPress.

It was fairly easy when I installed this, then today ambitiously tried the friendly url option. Oh my God it has broken down. The major problem is that I couldn’t go back. I guess I have to try deactivating and reinstalling again.

[...] I have been using the flickr album plugin by Ramon Darrow for my photo album but after some rooting around this afternoon I decided to switch over to FAlbum. With a bit of help from Andreas Linde’s great walkthrough it was up and running in no time. This version looks to have nice admin plugin page which made linking to flickr easy as pie, plus it displays all recent photo’s even if they are not collated in sets. After a few hourse tweaking and setting it all out I went back to modify some other pages and suddenly was faced with a 500 Server Error! What had just fallen apart? I then spent a few hours getting to the root of the problem and found removing the .htaccess file for the root and removing permalinks solved it. Right turn permalinks back on; works. Turn friendly url’s on photo plugin on; works. Modify a page and save; 500 Server Error! It turns out that the FAlbum plugin writes to the .htaccess file but in doing so erases the last #End WordPress marker so when you change a page and WordPress updates the .htaccess file it chokes on the FAlbum section. I manually added the WordPress end marker above the FAlbum being marker and so far it looks to be working ok.
